Online tools and software to help your business grow.
Below is the software I love, use and recommend. I receive a small commission if you click and purchase (appreciated!)
-
Squarespace
My preferred website builder for most online entrepreneurs, especially service-based businesses.
-
SEOSpace
A beginner-friendly Squarespace plugin to improve your site’s SEO. Free tutorials included! If you want to show up more in a Google search, give it a try.
-
accessiBe
Be inclusive, improve SEO, and ensure that people with disabilities can access your website.
Plus avoid potential fines for not being WCAG and ADA compliant.
-
ConvertKit
My preferred email marketing software for most online entrepreneurs. I think it’s more straightforward and intuitive than its competitors, and it has the functionality to support you as you grow. Allows you to recommend and be recommended by other creators, so you can more easily grow your list. Free for your first 1000 subscribers.
-
The Contract Shop
Legal policies are a must to protect your business. I use the privacy policy and terms and conditions from this shop. (Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer—consult yours to protect your business.)
-
ThriveCart
This is an excellent checkout cart solution to sell your digital product, masterclass, service, or program (I use it to sell website templates).
Create sales pages with upsells, downsells, and order bumps. Has affiliate program management, as well as online course hosting—with no recurring monthly fees like most carts and online course software.
-
Acuity Scheduling
You can use Acuity Scheduling alone, or with a Squarespace website (and access it from the backend of your site). It integrates with ConvertKit, Zoom, Google Meet, Quickbooks…I use it myself for 1:1 strategy sessions.
-
Interact
Quizzes are an excellent way to engage your visitors, grow your list, and generate qualified leads. Interact is a top quiz-making software that I recommend.
-
Dubsado
A business management platform for service-based professionals. Send proposals, contracts, invoices, reminders, schedule appointments—plus automate it all if you wish. Best for those with some tech acumen (read my Dubsado review here.)
-
Momence
I recommend Momence for yoga or fitness instructors and studios who want to monetize Zoom classes, a video library, or sell an online class membership. You can send text reminders, offer sliding scale classes, and there’s a free plan to get you started.
